MISSION STATEMENT

JACS of Florida, Inc., Jewish Alcoholics, Chemically Dependent Persons and
Significant Others of Florida,
an organization led by volunteers, is dedicated to:

• Encourage and assist Jewish alcoholics, chemically dependent persons, other persons suffering from the disease of addiction, and their families, friends and associates to explore and pursue recovery in a nurturing Jewish environment;
   
• Promote knowledge and understanding of the disease of alcoholism, chemical dependency and addiction as it involves the Jewish community;
   

• Serve as a resource center and information clearinghouse on the effects of alcoholism, chemical dependency and addiction on Jewish family life.
